Rangers and veterinarians from Kenya Wildlife Service race to rescue a black rhino that fell into a creek after being sedated by helicopter inside Nairobi National Park in Kenya. They safely rescued him and released the animal to make sure he was not harmed. Kenya has embarked on its biggest rhino relocation project and began the difficult work of tracking, darting and moving 21 of the critically endangered to Loisaba Conservancy. This monumental task involves the intricate process of tracking, darting, and carefully transporting these massive animals to their new sanctuary. Such efforts underscore Kenya's commitment to reversing the tide of poaching and habitat loss that has so gravely threatened this iconic species.
