An overview of Northern Laos’ Pa Hang Mountain (foreground, laying low on the edge of the village), a part of the Annamite Range that extends through Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia. In caves situated in this mountain the anthropalaeontologist team led by Demeter have discovered numerous evidence of the existence of early modern humans, homo erectus, and Denisovans.
