Paleo-anthropologist Laura Shackelford (right), a National Geographic Explorer, and Eric Suzzoni, a caver, excavate a newly discovered site by palaeontologist Fabrice Demeter and his team. Tam Neun is on a small mountain that is part of the Annamite Range that extends through Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia.
